The Metropolitain is situated in the heart of this very vibrant city, a quirky property located next to The Edinburgh Playhouse, Princes Street, Leith Walk and within walking distance to all of Edinburgh's best known attractions including Edinburgh Castle & The Scott Monument.
We are a ten minute walk from Waverly Train Station and a short twenty minute taxi ride form Edinburgh Airport.

The Metropolitan offers four double ensuite rooms complete with plasma TV's, fridge's, hairdryers, irons & safes

This five storey townhouse also accomodates a sophisticated, decadent cocktail bar to relax in after a hard days shopping! Rooms are available both long and short term.

This is the perfect place to stay, whether it be a shopping weekend in Edinburgh, business travel or simply a change of living space.

 The hotel was in a good location - anywhere in Edinburgh is going to mean a lot of walking up and down hills and steps!! We found the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was clean although nothing over the top or too special - pretty standard and I felt the rate we payed was over the top for what you got. Breakfast was brought up in the evening and left in your fridge - dissappointing when we expected a full english!
